No school sites are reserved east of Sunbury.
Future school sites are reserved through an approved precinct structure plan. Sunbury East does not have one, so no sites are reserved and none are funded. Families on the eastern side rely on existing Sunbury schools.

In an approved precinct, the Victorian Planning Authority sets aside land for government and non-government schools as part of the plan. Because no precinct structure plan applies to the land east of Sunbury, there are no reserved school sites, no indicative student yields and no delivery sequence to publish. The approved Sunbury South and Lancefield Road precincts cover other parts of Sunbury and carry their own school provision.
